Semarang, March 26, 2026 — The Department of Physics at Diponegoro University (Undip) has once again held the Undip Global Classroom (UGC) as part of its ongoing efforts to internationalize education and enhance the quality of learning. On this occasion, the Department of Physics invited an international guest lecturer from Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Dr. Mohd Hazrie Bin Samat, to contribute to the Crystal Physics and X-Ray Diffraction course.
The session was conducted virtually via Zoom on March 26, 2026, and was attended by physics students enrolled in the course. During the lecture, Dr. Mohd Hazrie Bin Samat delivered in-depth material regarding crystal structure concepts, X-ray diffraction, and the application of characterization techniques in modern materials research.
Throughout the event, students demonstrated high enthusiasm by actively participating in discussions and Q&A sessions. The material presented not only enriched the students’ theoretical understanding but also provided practical insights into the latest research developments in the field of materials physics.
