On Tuesday (November 15th), the Department of Physics at Diponegoro University held an online public lecture on the theme “Geophysical Studies in the Middle East.” The event opened with remarks from the committee chair, Dr. Muhammad Irham, and the head of the Physics Department, Prof. Dr. Heri Sutanto.
The public lecture was delivered by Undip Physics alumnus, Mr. Abdul Latif Ashadi, M.Sc., who currently holds a research position in the Department of Geosciences, King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, Saudi Arabia.
In his presentation, Mr. Abdul Latif Ashadi provided an introduction to geophysics, leading universities in Saudi Arabia, and opportunities for geophysical research in Saudi Arabia. He emphasized the importance of understanding the geophysical methods used for research, as they are a crucial component of geophysical research.
