In 2022, for the first and only one in Indonesia, Undip at the Department of Physics opened a medical physicist professional education in Indonesia. This professional education is awaited by Physics alumni throughout Indonesia who are interested in becoming Medical Physicists and will work in hospitals throughout Indonesia. Professional Education will last for a minimum of 2 semesters and the portion of practice in the hospital is up to 70 percent. Physics alumni who can register from alumni of the Indonesian Medical Physics Education Institutions Alliance (AIPFMI) (http://aipfmi.org) with a curriculum of compulsory courses taken by their students while studying. This Medical Physicist Professional Education will begin in August 2022.
