Fajar Arianto, M.Sc., a lecturer in the Department of Physics at Diponegoro University, participated in a training session held by the International Center for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) in collaboration with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Trieste, Italy, from March 18-22, 2024.

The training, titled “Data Modeling of Atomic and Molecular Processes in Plasmas,” covered several topics relevant to the modeling and spectroscopic analysis of plasmas at the atomic level, with applications to fusion reactions, astrophysics, and industry. Furthermore, the development of artificial intelligence (AI) was linked to the topics discussed, with practical examples and exercises to support the lectures and enhance the skills.

The training was held over five days at the Kastler Lecture Hall of ICTP in Trieste, Italy. Fajar Arianto, M.Sc., presented a poster entitled, “Plasma Jet Diagnostics and Dielectric Barrier Discharge Plasma Parameters with Optical Emission Spectroscopy.”
