The Department of Physics at Universitas Diponegoro successfully held a Capacity Building event themed “Synergy and Collaboration for the Enhancement of the Department of Physics’ Performance at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Universitas Diponegoro.” The event took place on August 24-25, 2024, in the Guci tourist area, Tegal Regency.
The event was filled with various engaging activities that were not only entertaining but also educational. On the first day, participants enjoyed a Jeep Tour around Tegal, followed by a gala dinner and a joint meeting. The second day began with a morning exercise session, followed by exploration of the Guci natural attractions, and concluded with a visit to Tegal’s souvenir center.
The event was made even more special by the presence of Dr. Ir. Hernowo Danusaputro, M.T., a senior lecturer who retired in 2019. In his speech, Dr. Hernowo emphasized the importance of cooperation in advancing the Department of Physics. “The Department of Physics must work together to advance the department, so it becomes more dignified and beneficial,” he said. His presence brought new enthusiasm to the participants to continue improving performance and synergy in achieving shared goals.
This event is expected to strengthen the unity of the Department of Physics staff and foster better collaboration to achieve sustainable performance improvements.
