The Head of the Physics Department and the team conducted an exploratory visit for collaboration on faculty research, internships, or student final projects at the Photonics Research Center of BRIN Serpong and the National Standards for Measurement Units (SNSU) of the National Standardization Agency (BSN) in the Puspiptek Area, Serpong, on November 8-10, 2023. The integrated equipment at BRIN and BSN is highly comprehensive for collaborative research. It is hoped that future physicists from Diponegoro University can contribute to enhancing expertise in the field of spectroscopy, testing, and calibration of fundamental and derived physical quantities, as their regular activities during their studies are related to research methods and physical measurement techniques. In 2024, it is expected that there will be a realization of activities to improve the competence of lecturers and student visits to BRIN and BSN. During the visit, the Head of the Physics Department also coordinated and communicated with physics alumni. Thanks for the support and collaboration of the alumni; hopefully, the younger students can benefit from collaborative activities with BRIN and BSN in research and self-competence.
