Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP) proudly presents the “Visiting Professors and Lecturers” event, taking place on September 17, 2024, at Gedung Acintya Prasada, 6th floor. This event is part of the World Class University (WCU) program, supported by UNDIP in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of Indonesia (Ristekdikti).
The event will be held from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM, featuring four experts from the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, who will share their latest research and insights. The speakers include:
Dr. Raja Kamarulzaman Raja Ibrahim, who will present on the development of a Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) system for elemental analysis in food samples. This presentation aims to provide new insights into the application of laser technology for food safety and quality control.
Dr. Maisarah Binti Duralim, with a topic on the Synthesis of nanoparticles using pulsed laser ablation in liquid. This topic offers a fresh perspective on nanotechnology, which plays a crucial role in various industrial and medical applications.
Dr. Muhammad Firdaus Omar, who will discuss the Fundamentals of X-Ray Diffraction (XRD). XRD is an essential technique for material characterization, particularly in analyzing crystal structures.
Dr. Siti Salwa Alias, with the theme Nanomaterials: Small size, big impact, will explore the role of nanomaterials in technological innovation, highlighting their importance in modern industries.
