Visit to The Practice of Health Physics and The Enumeration System of Physics Students of Diponegoro University at NuklindoLab was held on November 20, 2021. The implementation of this visit to Nuklindolab was attended by as many as 32 students accompanied by Mr. Zaenal Arifin S.Si, M.Si as a master of the health physics practicum and enumeration system while still carrying out health protekol related to the Covid-19 pandemic. This activity was held at 08.00-15.00 at nuklindolab office, South Tangerang City, Banten. NuklindoLab is a Business Entity / Service under the Radiation and Environmental Safety Services Cooperative engaged in radiation safety for both Industry and Hospitals.
The group began departure at 23.00 WIB on November 19, 2021 from the gathering point of Training Center I Undip, the group arrived at Nuklindo at 07.00 WIB on November 20, 2021. The group was very warmly welcomed by the nuklindo. The first activity was the introduction of Nuklindo and the Basic Introduction of Conformity Test conducted by Nuklindo with Mr. Drs. Bunawas is the head of the R&D division at NuklindoLab. The activity continued with the study lab of Health Physics at NuklindoLab. In the activities of The Student Visit can make observations directly in the existing laboratory, observations are done in groups, then each group will visit each test lab in nulindo alternately. In each test lab there are staff who are tasked with providing an understanding or explanation of how each test works. Laboratories visited include:
- Radiation exposure and contamination test rooms
- Radiation exposure rate test room
- Medical suitability test room
- TLD reading room
- TLD processing/evaluation room
After the visit, students are expected to develop research in Nuklindo with various research topics, including environmental radiation exposure tests and hospital exposure tests.
