In 2021, the IAEA provided equipment grants to several universities, including the CTDI phantom, CIRS mammography phantom, AAPM Performance CT phantom, pureimaging image phantom, and Radcal X-ray multimeter. The workshop was held at the Department of Physics, UNDIP, the training center, and RSUP Kariadi to provide an understanding of dosimetry, radiation measurement devices, phantoms, and practical use of radiation measurement devices and phantoms in CT scans, mammography, and mobile radiography. The workshop was opened by Prof. Dr. Drs. Wahyu Setia Budi, MS., F.Med, as the Chairman of the Alliance of Indonesian Medical Physics Education Institutions (AIPFMI), providing guidance to participants to enhance their understanding of the equipment so that it can be beneficial for research and practical application for students in the field of medical physics. The Chair of the Committee, Prof. Dr. Heri Sutanto, S.Si.M.Si., F.Med, warmly welcomed the participants, including those from ITB, UNHAS, UNUD, UKSW, UNAND, UNAIR, UGM, UB, UNAS, ITS. It is hoped that the participants can attend this event until its conclusion, which is held from October 5th to 7th, 2023, and strengthen research collaboration in the field of medical physics.
