Semarang, September 12, 2024 – The Department of Physics at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) held the Medical Physicist Oath-Taking Ceremony today, attended by key figures including representatives from Afismi (Indonesian Medical Physicist Association) and the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM) at Undip.
The event, which took place from 10:00 to 11:20 AM WIB, began with an official opening, followed by the singing of the Indonesian national anthem, the Undip mars and hymn, as well as the Afismi mars and hymn. Several key speeches were delivered by notable figures, including the Chairman of Afismi DPW Central Java and the Chairman of Afismi Central Office, who attended online, as well as the Head of the Department of Physics at Undip.
In his remarks, the Dean of FSM emphasized the vital role of medical physicists in advancing healthcare technology, particularly in the fields of radiology and radiation therapy. This event also marked a historic moment for the graduates, who are now ready to contribute to the healthcare sector in Indonesia.
The highlight of the event was the professional oath-taking ceremony by the graduates, followed by a closing prayer.
This ceremony serves as an important symbol of dedication and professionalism for the newly graduated medical physicists, who will play a crucial role in improving healthcare services in Indonesia.
