Alhamdulillah, conveyed by the Head of the Department of Physics at UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Heri Sutanto, S.Si., F.Med., M.Si., after completing the graduation ceremony for the first-ever Medical Physicist Professional on May 24, 2023, at the Prof. Soedarto Building, UNDIP Tembalang Semarang.
The Professional Education for Medical Physicists in Indonesia is currently the only program that has produced its first graduates with the professional title of Medical Physicist (F.Med). The graduates are now qualified to become lecturers and clinical supervisors in hospitals. The first graduation ceremony was attended by 21 graduates, who achieved cum laude and very satisfactory distinctions. The graduates received a Professional Certificate issued by UNDIP and a Competency Certificate for Medical Physicists issued by UNDIP and AFISMI.
Hopefully, the regular class of the Professional Education for Medical Physicists (PPFM) will soon graduate with a total of 24 individuals, thus adding to the pool of medical physicists who contribute their best in healthcare services and fulfill their roles and functions.
